Introduction
I write this paper because I want to increase my knowledge about drama, sinetron and film. After I watched drama, sinetron and film on the television I would like to tell about definitions, examples and the differences between them.
The definition and the example of Drama, Sinetron and Film
· Drama is a literary composition involving conflict, action crisis and atmosphere designed to be acted by players on a stage.
For example: OVJ and John Lennong
· Sinetron is a drama, typically performed as a serial on daytime television or radio, characterized by stock characters and situations, sentimentality, and melodrama.
For example: Karunia and Yusma and Yusra
· Film is a sequence of images of moving objects photographed by a camera and providing the optical illusion of continuous movement when projected onto a screen.
For example: Step Up, get married, Shaolin etc.

The differences between Drama, Sinetron and Film
After I looked the drama of OVJ, the sinetron of Yusma and Yusra and the film of Step Up. I found the differences between them, such as:
· Drama has connection with the audiences directly but sinetron and film do not have connection with the audiences directly.
· Sinetron goes out six days a week and run for more than 120 episodes. Each episode ends with a promise that the storyline is to be continued in another episode. It is different with drama and film, the drama’s story end with one episode and the film’s story also with one episode but sometimes it has more than one episode such as get married 1, get married 2 and get married 3.
· The performance of drama is live. It is different with sinetron and film because they performance is recorded.
· The players in sinetron and film always same but some of the players in drama always new.
· The film and sinetron was shot in many locations but drama was shot on the stage.
My experience about Drama
When I was senior high school I had ever played drama. I became a mass. The story was very sad. The title of drama was Anorexia. It was a kind of disease where somebody had to do diet by ate some foods then they had to vomit it at the time. The story of drama liked this. The diet was done by me to make my boyfriend came back to me because for the first time we love each other but unfortunately when I got fat, my boyfriend got bored of me. He said to me to stay away because he did not like fat girl. He would let me came back to be his girlfriend again if I could be slim like the firs time. Then I did the diet until I sick and finally I passed away.
Conclusion
Based on my review after I watched the drama of OVJ, the sinetron of Yusma and Yusra and the film of Step Up 1. I found the differences between them, such as in the storyline, performance and player.
